In 1928, Rene Lalique designed the Merles and Raisins decorative panels, originally in created in pressed glass on a silver background and adorned the Cuban mahogany woodwork of the legendary Orient Express. Today, the Lalique Studio reinterprets this emblematic creation, in new expressions through vases and a bowl. The precious cultural heritage of the House thus comes to life in very contemporary shapes.

ElegantArtLover,

This Lalique piece is a true gem. It's a bit pricier than what I would normally spend on decor, but the Merles et Raisins pattern is exquisite. Transported back to the luxury of the Orient Express with just one look!

BudgetBuyer,

Got this on a special sale for $65! For a Lalique bowl, that's a steal. It looks stunning on my dining room table.

NeutralNancy,

It's a nice bowl, I suppose. Nothing particularly wrong with it but it didn't wow me either. I guess it's just not entirely my style.

HistoryBuff1930,

The story behind this bowl is fascinating. Owning a piece that reflects such a rich cultural heritage is amazing, even if the use is purely decorative. The details are intricate, and I'm in love with the craftsmanship.

ArtDecoDevotee,

Compared to other art deco pieces I own, this Lalique bowl is the standout. It's elegant, clear, and has a timeless design that immediately catches the eye.

FastShopper,

Shipping was incredibly fast. I ordered the Lalique bowl and had it in my hands two days later, just in time for my anniversary dinner setup. Perfect service!

PickyPete,

Honestly, for a luxury item, I expected...more. The bowl is nice, but for $65, I think the size could have been more generous. It feels overpriced for what you get.

GlassCollector,

I'm a huge collector of Lalique and this Merles et Raisins bowl is a fine addition. It's absolutely authentic and the clarity of the glass is exactly what you'd expect from a high-end piece like this.

ModerateMaven,

After pondering over this purchase, I finally caved in. The bowl is beautiful but not life-changing. I'll keep it but it's not the highlight of my collection.

HomeStylist,

I can't recommend this bowl enough for those who appreciate art in daily objects. This adds a level of sophistication to my home décor that I didn't know I needed. Yes, it's a splurge but so worth it.
