In 1928, Rene Lalique designed the Merles and Raisins decorative panels, originally in created in pressed glass on a silver background and adorned the Cuban mahogany woodwork of the legendary Orient Express. Today, the Lalique Studio reinterprets this emblematic creation, in new expressions through vases and a bowl. The precious cultural heritage of the House thus comes to life in very contemporary shapes.

VintageFanatic,

I'm thrilled with the Lalique Merles et Raisins vase I purchased. The intricate design is true to the 1928 original, and it makes an elegant statement piece in my living room. At $49.00, it's an incredible value for a piece of art that carries so much history.

OrientExpressLover,

As a collector of Orient Express memorabilia, I was excited to find this vase. It's a small slice of luxury and history, although the black color isn't as vibrant as I hoped. Nonetheless, it's a decent buy.

BargainSeeker,

Quite impressed with the price point of this Lalique vase. It looks pricier than it is, and it's been a conversation starter at every dinner party. Definitely recommend!

ArtDecoDiva,

I've always admired Lalique's work, and when I saw this modern interpretation of a classic design, I couldn't pass it up. The details are exquisite—every grape and bird is perfectly crafted.

ModernArtisan,

While I appreciate the craftsmanship of the Merles et Raisins vase, I prefer original Lalique pieces from the early 20th century. This is a nice homage, but it doesn't evoke the same feel for me.

The Lalique vase is a magnificent piece, and I was not disappointed. It is a little smaller than I expected, but it still makes for a wonderful display. I must say, the craftsmanship is impeccable.

JohnD,

Ordered the Lalique vase, but it wasn't to my taste, even though the quality is undeniable. Ended up giving it to a friend who loved it. Sometimes great isn't for everyone.

NostalgiaSeeker,

Revisiting the golden age of travel with the Lalique vase was a treat. It's like having a piece of the Orient Express in my home. However, I wish the glass was a tad thicker, feels fragile.
